After suffering back-to-back losses at the hands of the Lexington Snipes, the Vikings will have a night off as tonight’s game against the Rockford Foresters has been cancelled due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Sunday, June 30.
Southland (4-3) defeated the Foresters (1-5) this past Wednesday by a score of 6-1 behind the arm of wining pitcher Declan McCarron who allowed one hit in two innings of work.
The Vikings will be back in action tomorrow night at home against the Snipes (4-1) at 7 p.m., they will then finish the week off with home bouts against the DuPage County Hounds (5-1) at 7 p.m. on Friday and the Chicago Zephyrs (0-5) at the same time on Saturday.
