Rain Stops Vikes from Playing

By: Griffin Winiecki

In what was an anticipated and exciting matchup for two Northern League rivals, the Vikings and Oilmen was called due rain and thunderous storms. Now on the 29th, due to flooding on the field the Vikings won't be playing the Generals at Griffith either.

Rain has been this leagues biggest enemy so far in history. As the weather starts to clear up and the fields start to dry the Vikings enter Oil City Stadium ready to play a ball game and ready to try and get their first win of this early season.
