The Vikings were visitng the Oilmen at Oil City on Friday hoping to get their next win. The Vikings started Mason Leckrone who started the very first game for the Vikings agains the Miracle and ended up taking the loss against them. The Oilmen had RJ Bergren on the mound to start for them.

In what was a 1-0 close battle between the two teams became an offensive onslaught for the Oilmen. After the 4th the score was 4-0 Oilmen and then they piled on 2 runs in the 5th and 4 in the 6th.

The Vikings struggled against Bergren all game as he struck out 10 Vikings batters. Before the 4th inning, Leckrone was doing a great job at retiring the side as he got himself 8 strikeouts thru 4.2 IP and getting himself out of tough situations for the Vikings, but it was the 5th that got the best of him.

Peyton Fausto came in for Leckrone to finish off the rest of the game before it got called at the end of the top of the 7th inning. The Vikings who face the Generals in a small 2 game series Monday and Tuesday look to get thing back on track and resurge offensively as they did on Monday against the Miracle.
