After a stellar game both offensively and defensively the Vikings went to Griffith HS to take on the Generals for the second game of their 2 game series. Anthony Mangano got the start for the Vikings and struggled early giving up 9 total runs through 4 innings (5 of which were earned) but it was Justin Schassburger who was the ace on the mound for the Generals as he went 5 innings and struck out 10.
In what was a tough game for the Vikings out in the field recording 6 errors in the game and striking out 12 times through 7 innings was tough for them as they couldn't get much started out on offense.
The season is still young and the 2-5 Vikings are going to Oil City to take back a game against the Oilmen after losing 2 straight to them.
